A FORMALITY

I didn’t even bother waiting to hear the results of the blood test; to me it was just a formality. I’ve been suffering from many of the symptoms of diabetes for several months now. I was sure that I had it, so right after I scheduled the doctor’s appointment to confirm my suspicions I began my quest for diabetic supplies. After researching for a few hours, reading tons of customer reviews, comparing prices and consulting my insurance company I knew exactly what I was going to do when I got the official news. Being prepared had always been very important to me so I wanted to have as much information as possible. Now I know which monitors are the most accurate, which ones are the easiest to use, which ones last the longest and where to get all of the supplies for as cheap as possible if I don’t end up qualifying to get any of the stuff for free. I know I don’t even necessarily know for sure whether I have it or not, but I don’t consider it a waste of time – if I have diabetes I’ll be prepared, if I don’t I’ll be so darn excited I won’t have cared about the time spent.
